The wonderful perennials plant nursery Woottens at Wenhaston, the RSPB bird sanctuary at Minsmere and the wonderful sandy beach at Walberswick are all within quarter of an hour. Art and music abound in Suffolk and there are second-hand book shops, the summer theatre in Southwold, antique shops, fascinating and very varied churches, wonderful walks along the coast, ancient woodlands, historic buildings, fascinating churches and much more!
